Maximize Load Market Tracking Performance

How to Send a Tracking Request
Highlights:
Required Fields
The shipment reference number, driver’s phone number, and tracking duration are required fields. Once these are filled out, you can send the request right away. Any other details can be added later using the Edit function.
Driver Notifications for App Installation
  • 1st Text Message - The driver receives a text message with a link to download the app and accept tracking.
  • 2nd Text Message - (12 min later )If the app isn't installed yet the driver will receive a second text reminder.
  • AI Bot Call (7 min later) - If there’s still no response, our AI bot will automatically call the driver.
  • 3rd Text Message (5 min later) - If the app is still not installed within 5 minutes after the call, a third text reminder will be sent.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off Stops
You can add up to 10 stops to a single tracking request, and the system will calculate a separate ETA for each one. Enter the physical address instead of the facility name. If you’ve saved addresses before, you can quickly select them from your Address Book.
Email Updates
Set your preferred email update settings and add as many email addresses as you’d like to receive updates. You can choose how often updates are sent - every 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours, depending on your setup.
Live Tracking
As soon as the driver accepts your request, you’ll be able to see their live location on the map.

Setup Requirements
The installation process is simple and identical for both Android and iPhone devices.Drivers must enable “Share Location - All the Time,” allow motion access, and grant precise location permissions.

Once their phone number is verified, they can accept your tracking request, and you’ll instantly see their live location on the map.
Lost Signal Recovery
If a driver loses signal or their phone stops sending location data, they’ll receive push notifications and text messages reminding them to refresh their location.They simply need to open the tracking app, and the location will update instantly.
Verification Code Tips
When creating a new account, drivers must verify their phone number using a six-digit code sent via text message.

For security reasons, entering the wrong code five times in a row will temporarily lock further attempts for 30 minutes - a standard measure to prevent spam and unauthorized access.
After the lockout period, the driver can request a new code and complete verification.
Maintaining Live Tracking
For the most reliable tracking experience, drivers should keep the Load Market Tracking app running in the background throughout their trip.This helps prevent interruptions and ensures brokers and shippers always have accurate, real-time visibility of their loads.
Tracking Statuses
Pending installation
Your tracking request was created successfully, but the driver hasn’t installed the Load Market Tracking App yet. They’ll receive a text with the download link and up to four reminders if needed.
Pending driver's approval
The driver has successfully installed the Load Market Tracking App. Tracking will start once the request is approved.
Active
Tracking is now active, giving you real-time visibility - including the driver’s current location and driving speed directly on Google Maps.
Active (Power save)
The driver has enabled power-saving mode on the phone. In most cases, tracking will continue normally, but the device may occasionally pause GPS location updates to conserve battery.
Not moving
The driver’s location hasn’t changed in the last 10 minutes.
Paused by the driver
The driver has temporarily paused tracking. To resume, the driver just needs to open the Load Market Tracking App and tap the green “Start Tracking” button.
Waiting for an update
The driver’s phone hasn’t sent a location update for over 25 minutes. This usually happens when the driver is in an area with poor signal or the phone battery has run out.
Driver's device settings issue
The driver has disabled the “Always Share Location” option. To restore active tracking, the driver needs to open the phone settings, set location access to “Always” for the Load Market Tracking App, and then reopen the app to apply the update.
Rejected by driver
The driver rejected your tracking requst.
The driver uninstalled the app
The driver uninstalled the app during an active tracking request. To continue tracking, the driver needs to reinstall the Load Market Tracking App and log back into their profile.
The driver deleted account
The driver deleted the account during your active tracking request. To resume tracking please create a new tracking request, and the driver will need to reinstall the app and accept the request again.

Stay informed about potential pickup or delivery delays
Smart Arrival Alerts automatically track driver progress and alert you if there’s a risk of missing a pickup or delivery time. It’s available in all PRO subscription plans and helps you catch potential delays before they happen.
How it works
When creating a new tracking request, click the clock icon next to each pickup or delivery address and enter the expected arrival time. Once you do, Smart Arrival Alerts activate automatically.

The system runs regular ETA checks - increasing in frequency as the driver gets closer to the destination - and instantly flags possible delays.If a delay is detected, you’ll see a status update in the platform and receive an email notification sent to the user who created the tracking request and anyone who marked it as a favorite.
Status meanings
  • Ahead: Driver has plenty of time to arrive.
  • On Time: Expected to arrive up to an hour early.
  • Tight: Still on schedule, but cutting it close.
  • Late: Driver will not arrive on time.
Get more accurate results
For better accuracy, mark whether the driver is solo or part of a team. Smart Arrival Alerts already include live traffic data for more precise ETAs.
However, because the system does not have access to the driver’s remaining ELD driving hours, please keep in mind that alerts should always be taken with a small margin of flexibility.
Create a Sub-User Account

      Once you send the invitation, users receive an activation email. After they verify their account and set a password, the status will automatically change to Active.

    Tracking History

      Every completed tracking request is automatically saved in Tracking History for three months. During that time, you can review all the details whenever you need. After three months, the record is automatically removed from the database.
